JENNIFER LAROCHE CURRENT BIO

 

            Jenny Laroche, originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo, earning her B.F.A, Cum Laude, and recently awarded the program’s Distinguished Alumni Award. Jenny began her career as a world famous Radio city Rockette in the Christmas Spectacular. As a Rockette, she made her big screen debut in the movie New Years Eve. Her feature film credits also include Annie 2014, Diamond Soles, HD LIVE The Merry Widow, and the Netflix special by Bill Murray, A Very Murray Christmas.

 

            When the hit NBC series Smash, produced by Steven Spielberg, was picked up, Jenny was offered the role of Sue, making this Jenny’s television debut as a recurring role in a drama series.  She has also performed numerous industrial events for major brands, including working under esteemed director Baz Luhrmann in The Great Gatsby Premiere.

 

            Her live television credits include SNL40, America’s Got Talent, Best Time Ever, The Wendy William’s show, The Today Show, TVLand Awards with Liza Minnelli and the Billboard Awards with Beyonce. Her theatre credits include the stage reading of King Kong, her role of Annette in Can-Can; Paper Mill Playhouse, Suzanne Duval in Paint your wagon; Encores! Little me, Fly; Dallas Theater, Guys and dolls; Carnegie Hall, and Clo-Clo in The Merry Widow MetOpera, directed by Tony winner Susan Stroman. She recently performed with Mariah Carey in the Mariah Carey Christmas show at the Beacon Theatre. Jenny continues to work in TV, Film, and theatre, meanwhile instilling knowledge and encouragement to pre-professionals through her innovative program, The Laroche Approach.
